Anway, after practically spending a week in a coma I started to regain my energy, but then it was Julia's turn. Off she went to the hospital and returned sipping on a drink that looked like it would have been radioactive - apparently it was for emergency hydration. Then almost one week, five visits to the hospital and a handful of medicines later also Julia got better and we reached the day we had been waiting for a long time - the day we left on our five days adventure to La Paz.
We had practically spent two weeks in bed, trying to get through the days working and at the same time get better so it felt like a lot happened really fast and somehow we got from struggling to get any food or fluid to stay in our bodies to having lama-steak (not me, I'm still vegetarian) at a fancy restaurant in La Paz. That was five days ago, and now we're back in Cochabamba safe and sound after a few days in the colorful city of La Paz, an over-night trip to the peaceful and beautiful Isla del Sol (island of the sun), and experiencing the worlds most dangerous road on mountain bikes. You'll hear all about of that in a couple of days when I get the pictures and videos arranged! Meanwhile, we'll go back to our everyday life here at Corazon Grande.
